Investiture Ceremony

We, the members of S.K. National Convent School, Mahend organised "Investiture Ceremony" for the Students' Council. It's a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibility entrusted upon them by the school mentors.

The celebration was graced by the benign presence of Sh. S.K. Mishra, honourable Principal of the school. Among the teachers Mr. Ashok Kujur, Mr. B. K Choubey and Mr. Madan Rai delivered the Introductory speech, Importance of the occasion and Vote of thanks respectively. The celebration was begun with the Almighty's Prayer. The Principal sir elaborately elucidated the importance of the Investiture Ceremony to motivate the newly nominated leaders for inculcating leadership quality keeping pace with their scholastic and co-scholastic skills because leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.

Many a young leader received the badge and sash from the school dignitaries. Oath taking was given to the newly nominated leaders by the Principal sir. No doubt, words of commitment, honesty and sincerity by the newly installed leaders reverberated throughout the ceremony. The enthusiasm and fervour to do justice to the roles assigned to them was evident in their confident expression. At last , distinguished Principal sir concluded the ceremony by ensuring that "Leaders are not born, they are made." He also encouraged the new leaders by saying, " Now you are more than you were, and you can start over anytime."

The celebration came to conclusion with National Anthem.
